Process

How it works

From the voucher and beyond the examination: Because health is so important to us, the Jubi Health Check is not only free of charge but also involves only a minimal amount of work on your part compared with organizing these checks on your own.

Before the check-up

01

Registration

After you have received your personal voucher, you can register using the Jubi Health Check registration form.

02

Appointment

The clinic will contact you to arrange an appointment and send you the preliminary package with the appointment confirmation and directions, a medical questionnaire to fill out before the appointment, an overview of what else needs to be considered, the treatment contract and a stool test (colorectal cancer screening).

03

Applying for paid leave

After making the appointment, inform your manager and apply for paid leave for the day of the examination. You will receive a time credit of 3:45 hours, which you can of course combine with other time off, such as overtime. If the nearest clinic is more than 100 kilometres away, you will be granted paid leave for the entire working day. This currently applies to the St. Wendel and Schweinfurt sites.

During the check-up

The initial consultation

During the entire Jubi Health Check, an internist will accompany you throughout the day. The internist is your contact person and will take time for you. Apart from you, there will be no more than one other person the internist will look after on that day. During the initial consultation, the internist will provide you with important background information and explain the day's programme. You will need to submit in your signed standard treatment contract and the voucher you have brought with you will be validated by the clinic.

The check-ups

Your doctor will then refer you to the relevant specialist for the individual checks. The Jubi Health Check is much more comprehensive than regular preventive examinations. To name just one example: eye pressure measurement during the eye examination.
You can find an overview of all the contents of the Jubi Health Check here.

If you wish, you can book additional optional services when you register. The prices are significantly lower than those charged by your GP and apply exclusively to the Jubi Health Check.

The final consultation

The uniqueness of the Jubi Health Check becomes clear during the final consultation: Your doctor will look at all the results from the different medical fields and will be able to draw on findings from other examinations to confirm or rule out diagnoses immediately.

Of course, your doctor will explain all the results to you in detail and give you specific recommendations, for example, on lifestyle and diet. If necessary, you will also be given advice on follow-up tests or further treatment.

After the check-up

Documentation and follow-up examinations

Your personal doctor's letter, sent to you by post, provides a written summary of the results in an easy-to-understand language, both medical details for your GP, and a summary for you.

If you have received a recommendation for follow-up examinations or further treatment, you can follow this up with a specialist of your choice. Of course, the HELIOS clinics are also at your disposal. The costs will be covered by your health insurance company.

Proof of attendance

The validated voucher is proof of your attendance at the Helios clinic and relevant for granting paid leave. Please follow the instructions on how to apply for time credit.
